Treorchy Comprehensive School

Introduction

Treorchy Comprehensive has a Level 3 Green Flag, having achieved awards in February 2012, March 2014 and April 2016. The award is recognition of all the hard work undertaken by the pupils and staff committed to continuously improving the schools environmental performance. The ECO Committee have been the driving force behind the successful ECO Schools Green Flag Accreditation. They have led by example and have made some real environmental changes across the school. The committee has grown in number and is now looking to develop whole school approaches in a number of different areas that that will make a real and lasting difference to the environment in school and in the wider community. This year various projects have been identified to achieve this.
